Amanda Green – Senior Associate

General capability and experience
Amanda completed a Summer Clerkship with the Employment Team at Norman Waterhouse in 2004 and continued on in a casual capacity in 2005 whilst completing her final year of tertiary studies. In February 2006, following her admission, Amanda joined the team on a full-time basis.
Amanda's experience since joining Norman Waterhouse includes advising clients of all sizes. Amanda provides strategic advice in many areas, including industrial relations, occupational health and safety and equal opportunity. As part of her role in the employment team, Amanda undertakes the following:
- Drafting common law agreements, collective Enterprise Agreements and independent contractor arrangements
- Interpretation and application of legislation and awards
- Conducting unfair dismissal claims
- Conducting underpayment of wages claims
- Drafting policies, procedures and codes of conduct for employers
- Assisting employers with performance management issues
- Presenting information sessions on industrial relations topics
Amanda has a specific interest in employee-employer interactions and the human resources strategies used to ensure effective management in the workplace.

- Accreditation for Mediators - University of Adelaide in 2004

- Admitted to Practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia, 2006.
