Amanda Green – Associate

General capability and experience
Amanda completed a Summer Clerkship with the Employment Team at Norman Waterhouse
in 2004 and continued on in a casual capacity in 2005 whilst completing her
final year of tertiary studies. In February 2006, following her admission,
Amanda joined the Team on a full-time basis.
Amanda's experience since joining
Norman Waterhouse includes research and assisting in the handling of the following
matters:
- Interpretation of State and Commonwealth legislation
- Drafting common law employment contracts and Workplace Agreements
- State and Federal award interpretation
- Underpayment of wages claims
- Unfair dismissal claims
- Drafting workplace policies, procedures and codes of conduct
- Occupational health, safety and welfare
- Equal opportunity claims
Amanda has a specific interest in employee-employer interactions and the human
resources strategies used to ensure effective management in the workplace.

- Bachelor of Arts (Hons) - University of Adelaide in 2002
- Bachelor of Laws (with Hons) - University of Adelaide in 2005
- Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice
- Accreditation for Mediators - University of Adelaide in 2004
Qualified to Practice in the following jurisdictions
- Admitted to Practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court
of South Australia, 2006.
