Dale is a Solicitor with the firm’s Employment and Local Government teams.
Dale has experience in the local government sector and serves as an elected member on a metropolitan council.
He has an excellent understanding of local government procedures, polices and legislation. Dale advises clients on their rights, duties and obligations under legislation including the Local Government Act 1999, Dog and Cat Management Act 1995, Public and Environmental Health Act 1987, Ombudsman Act 1972, Fire and Emergency Services Act 2005, Local Government Act 1934, Fair Work Act 1994 and Fair Work Act 2009.
Since joining Norman Waterhouse Dale has assisted the team in a broad range of Employment and Local Government matters including analysis of State and Commonwealth legislation, interpretation and drafting of Awards and Agreements, and advising on governance and regulatory requirements. He has appeared in and instructed on matters in the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of South Australia, District Court of South Australia and the South Australian Industrial Relations Court and Commission.
