General capability and experience
Felicity Niemann is an Associate in the Norman Waterhouse Environment & Planning Team. Felicity joined Norman Waterhouse in October 2005 after graduating from Law with Honours at the University of Adelaide. Since her time at Norman Waterhouse she has developed extensive knowledge in both planning & environmental law.
Areas of Speciality :
- Provides advice, preparation and representation in appeals, civil proceedings and prosecutions under the Development Act and judicial review proceedings in the Supreme Court and other related legislation.
- Provides advice on matters arising under the Development Act 1993 and related legislation, including development assessment, policy work, land divisions and community title.
- Provides advice as to Court process and procedure and assists counsel when counsel is briefed.
- Drafts statutory instruments under the Development Act 1993 including emergency notices, enforcement notices and Land Management Agreements.
- Has broad experience in a variety of areas of law incidental to environment and planning, including contaminated land, native vegetation, regulatory and approvals, land acquisition, local government, energy and resources, property development.
