Georgina commenced practice in 1992.  Since 1994 Georgina has practiced in the area of Family Law.  Georgina has experience in the practice of Family Law including children’s issues, property settlement, spousal maintenance and defacto property settlement.  Since 1996, as a result of experience in children’s matters, Georgina has been appointed to represent children in proceedings in the Family Court as an independent children’s lawyer.  Georgina has had experience as a lecturer in the subject of Family Law, both to TAFE students and to graduate law students.

Personal Strengths and Achievements:

• Has experience in representing clients in the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court and District Court in relation to Family Law matters and defacto property settlements.
• Has experience in negotiation and assisting clients to reach an agreement in respect of property, spousal maintenance, children’s issues and defacto property settlements.
• Has a sound knowledge of the Law including recent changes to Family Law legislation in both property and children’s matters.
• Is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Society of South Australia.
