General capability and experience
James is a partner in the Property, Infrastructure and Development team.
James has practiced as a commercial property lawyer in both the Northern Territory and South Australia since being admitted in February 1999. He has been involved in the management and conduct of a variety of property and commercial matters for a cross section of business and industry in both the private and public sectors.
James gained valuable experience working as in-house legal counsel for the University of Adelaide in 2007-2008 where his legal skills were put to use on a diverse range of matters and projects including the development from scratch of legal compliance and contract management frameworks.
James has extensive experience specialising in infrastructure projects and asset management for local government and more generally, acquisition and disposals, leasing and licensing, due diligence investigations and reports and general contract preparation and advice.
