General capability and experience

Marc Duncan joined the Norman Waterhouse Environment and Planning Team as a Senior Associate in October 2007 having previously worked at Planning SA in the System Improvement/Legislation directorate of that organisation. During this time, Marc was seconded to the Planning an Development Review initiated by the Minister for Urban Development and Planning, Paul Holloway MLC. His areas of specialty are urban and regional planning, environment, property, building and native vegetation law.

Personal strengths and achievements:

• Prepares Planning Appeals in the Environment, Resources and Development Court;
• Prepares enforcement proceedings under the  Environment Protection Act 1993 and the Development Act 1993;        
• Drafts Land Management Agreements; 
• Prepares advices in all aspects of environment and planning law;

Education:

Bachelor of Laws with Honours (Flinders University of South Australia)

Areas of Speciality:

Urban and regional planning law, environment protection, building, native title, water resources and native vegetation law.
