Michael Ryan is a Partner in the firms Property, Infrastructure and Development team. He has extensive experience in all types of property, finance and general commercial transactions, acting for both institutional and private clients.

Areas of Expertise:

• Property development and project documentation
• Disposals and acquisitions of commercial, industrial and residential properties
• Commercial leasing
• Land divisions; and
• Other land based transactions.

Michael also has broad experience in acting for both vendor and purchaser due diligences and due diligence investigations for secured lending transactions.

Relevant Experience:

Michael's experience includes negotiating acquisitions, disposals and leasing of commercial property, undertaking due diligence investigations in relation to all types of property transactions including retail shopping centres, vineyards and other rural land holdings. He has also advised lending institutions on financing issues in relation to these types of transactions and the preparation of property security documentation.

He has extensive knowledge of Lands Titles Office practice and procedures in relation to:

• Land transfers;
• Easements;
• Plans of division;
• Community plans of division;
• Leases; and
• Mortgages.

• Admitted to practice as a Solicitor in South Australia, 1993
