General capability and experience

Susie Inat is a Partner in the firm's specialist Local Government Group. Since joining Norman Waterhouse in 2003, Susie has been involved in providing advice on and preparing Codes of Conduct, undertaking legislative compliance audits and providing advice to Councils on issues of meeting procedures, conflict of interest, confidentiality and general governance.

Susie previously practiced in commercial law, specialising in property work in Darwin and more recently in Adelaide. She also has experience with land law including contracts for sale and purchase of business and land, leases, licences, developments and construction and also experience with other general commercial issues effecting local government.

Susie's clients have ranged from Councils, state government, major developers and private individuals. Susie's experience has assisted in the development of skills in providing pragmatic and commercially realistic advice for her clients.
