General capability and experience

Tim joined the Corporate and Commercial Team at Norman Waterhouse as an Associate in March 2009. Prior to this he worked in a medium-sized law firm in Adelaide as a corporate and commercial solicitor focusing on the resources and energy sector after being admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2006. 

Tim’s professional experience includes the following:

• advising ASX listing companies on reporting and corporate governance issues;
• joint venture and off-take agreements;
• capital raisings;
• Foreign Investment Review Board applications;
• supply and service contracts;
• intellectual property protection.

Tim has lived and studied in both China and Germany and has a specific interest in foreign investment and joint venture projects in the resources and energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce - University of Adelaide in 2002
• Diploma in Languages (Mandarin) – University of Adelaide in 2002
• Bachelor of Laws - University of Adelaide in 2005
• Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice
