Freedom of Information reform - Lunchtime Briefing

The South Australian Government has recently released a draft Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous) Amendment Bill 2019 (Draft Bill), which proposes a range of amendments to the current Freedom of Information Act 1991 (SA) (Act).

The Draft Bill proposes more than 40 changes to the Act. Councils and other interested parties have until 24 January 2020 to make any submissions on the Draft Bill and the proposed changes to the Act.

Due to the significance this will have on the State’s freedom of information regime, Norman Waterhouse will be hosting a Lunchtime Briefing on Tuesday, 17 December 2019 to assist the Local Government sector to navigate through the extensive changes as proposed in the Draft Bill.

We strongly recommend that all CEOs, Governance Officers, FOI Officers and records management staff attend this Lunchtime Briefing Session.

This event tickets have been sold out.
