About Kate

Kate was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice and Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) at Flinders University.

Following her studies, Kate gained valuable experience working for a specialist commercial firm in Adelaide where she had the opportunity to assist with a variety of large commercial transactions. Expanding her legal experiences, Kate volunteered in Cambodia with a not for profit organisation working to provide solutions for displaced communities.

Kate joined Norman Waterhouse in 2017 as a legal secretary in the Corporate and Commercial team before commencing as a solicitor in 2018. Kate works on a wide range of corporate matters with a focus on commercial outcomes for clients including corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing and corporate governance. She also enjoys working with and establishing charities and not for profit organisations.

Known for her enthusiasm and vibrancy, Kate works closely with her clients that range from small family businesses and newly established companies to large corporate groups delivering bespoke advice, and assisting them in developing and finding success in their industries. Kate also assists in asset protection and succession planning for businesses to secure our clients’ hard work and ensure that it is future proofed.
