About Lachlan

Lachlan was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2021 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Economics) at Queensland University of Technology in 2016.

Prior to being admitted to practice, Lachlan gained valuable experience working in property; initially providing analytical advice to both publicly listed and private property developers and later as a salesperson. Lachlan also co-founded the Queensland University of Technology Chapter of Australia-China Youth Association.

In 2020, Lachlan joined Norman Waterhouse as a PLT student. He then became a Law Clerk in the Environment and Planning team and, upon being admitted to practice, commenced working as a Solicitor within that team.

Lachlan has experience acting for both private and public sector clients in a wide range of town planning and environmental matters including contaminated land, planning appeals, enforcement and prosecution, regulatory compliance, compulsory acquisition, property and infrastructure.
