About Li-shern
Li-shern joined Norman Waterhouse as a Law Clerk in 2021, before commencing as a Solicitor in the Employment and Governance team. She holds bachelor degrees in both Law and Media from the University of Adelaide.
Working closely with a number of Partners and other senior practitioners, Li-shern provides strategic advice to clients on issues ranging from termination of employment, managing employee performance and disciplinary issues and work health and safety complaints. She has been involved in several litigious matters in areas of defamation, discrimination, and in compliance, regulatory and enforcement proceedings in all relevant tribunals and courts.
Li-shern is passionate about forming strong relationships with clients, striving to achieve positive and commercially viable outcomes.
Li-shern liaises with HR professionals and Team Leaders, curating tailored training programs and accredited courses across all practice areas of the firm. She also coordinates with practitioners to ensure the smooth delivery of these sessions. Li-shern is a key member in the ongoing partnership between Norman Waterhouse and the Local Government Association.
Away from the office, Li-shern is a keen photographer and enjoys spending her time camping and exploring landscapes. She keeps active through a variety of sports like bouldering and volleyball.
