An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a solution focused Associate to join our Family Law team.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have 2-5 years PAE in Australia and demonstrate a strong work ethic and teamwork principles.
The successful candidate will work with experienced practitioners to:
- Largely manage their own files and clients with the support of senior practitioners.
- Draft legal documents including court documents and correspondence;
- Provide representation and advice to clients in a range of family law matters including complex parenting and high-value property matters;
- Appear at mediations, settlement conferences, and as instructing solicitor in hearings in the FCFCOA.

What we are looking for:
- Previous Family Law experience;
- Some experience in managing matters independently;
- A Team player;
- A Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to advise on next steps;
- Ability to undertake research, draft court documents and accurate advice, and prepare high-quality documents in a timely manner;
- Ability to build effective and direct working relationships with clients, counsel and fellow team members; and
- Willingness to build referral networks.
