Expressions of Interest for New Accredited Local Government Courses

With the significant changes made to a range of qualifications and training packages by the Australian Skills Quality Authority, Norman Waterhouse, in partnership with the College of Public Employment (RTO 40390), is pleased to offer the repackaged and newly developed accredited Diploma and Certificate IV courses specifically relevant to Local Government.

The following courses will be rolled out based on expressions of interest:

• Certificate IV in Corporate Services
• Certificate IV in Regulatory Control
• Certificate IV in Rates
• Diploma in Planning
• Diploma in Rates

The course materials and mode of delivery of the above courses differ to the previous format with a stronger emphasis on the practical components and application of these qualifications to the workplace.

These courses have been redeveloped with a Local Government focus so that the learning material and assessments are directly relevant and applicable to the participant’s role at Council. Each specialist unit will be delivered by Norman Waterhouse legal practitioners who are experts in their relevant field so that participants can gain a thorough understanding of the legislative components of the course.
