Law Society SA: Junior Lawyers Court Tour/Panel
The Family Law Committee of the Law Society of South Australia and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia invite early career family lawyers to an engaging and interactive tour of the Adelaide Registry followed by a panel discussion with judicial officers from the Adelaide Registry.
All early career family lawyers (0 to 3 years PQE) are invited to register and attend.
The event will commence at 4.30pm with an in-person guided tour by Judge’s Associates of the Registry and courtrooms where participants can familiarise themselves with the Court building and Court personnel without the day to day pressures of family law practice.
The tour will be followed by an interactive panel discussion with judicial officers from Division 1 and Division 2 covering topics such as court etiquette, tips, what to expect from the Court as a young practitioner and what the Court expects from practitioners.
The event provides a unique opportunity for early career family lawyers to engage with their peers, familiarise themselves with the various spaces of the Adelaide Registry and engage with and gain insight from judicial officers in an informal setting.
