Norman Waterhouse Supports District Council of Orroroo Carrieton's Community Muster

The Orroroo Carrieton Community is a small town of 860 people, located three hours North of Adelaide. In recent times, the community has become all too familiar with terrible drought conditions and rural struggles.

This small community has faced a number of challenges as a result of the drought, including increased pressure placed on the local economy and retaining families and businesses in the area.

The Orroroo Carrieton Community is holding a free Community Muster on Friday 13 December 2019 to inspire and unite the community. This event is being held in hope to build capacity and encourage the community to hold future events, which will therefore promote economic development projects. As expressed by Chief Executive Officer Dylan Strong, the community “can’t make it rain, but [they] can do something to excite [the] community, band together and lift spirits in the face of the drought”.

Norman Waterhouse is excited to support The Orroroo Carrieton Community and their Community Muster. We hope our contribution will help to ensure the event builds moral and is enjoyed by all, whilst also encouraging the community to continue fighting the drought with high spirits.
