About Jared
Jared joined Norman Waterhouse as a Legal Administrator. Following his admission in July 2025, he transitioned into the role of Solicitor in the firm’s Employment, Governance & Regulatory Services and the Commercial & Taxation teams.
Jared holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) from the University of Adelaide. Prior to joining Norman Waterhouse, Jared was a tax advisor in a Big Four accounting firm’s tax practice where he was regularly involved in objections with the Australian Taxation Office and State Revenue Officers nationwide.
Drawing on his background in commerce and tax advisory, Jared brings a strong commercial perspective to his legal work, allowing him to understand the practical realities faced by clients and provide advice that is both commercially sensible and legally sound.
As a former President of the Adelaide University Malaysian Students’ Association, Jared displayed strong leadership skills and a commitment to community engagement and cultural exchange. These experiences continue to inform his people-focused approach to legal practice.
