Nick joined the firm’s Commercial team as a Senior Associate at the beginning of 2017 after five years at a professional trustee company.

During this time in specialist practice, Nick became an active member of the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and developed strong relationships with the local financial services industry, something he maintains today. Prior to this, he worked in private general practice across a range of matters although his area of interest has always been estate planning.

In 2020 Nick was appointed to the Board of Palliative Care South Australia Incorporated, South Australia’s peak body in Palliative Care, dedicated to ensuring all South Australians facing death and bereavement are supported to live, die and grieve well. In this role Nick intends to spread awareness of the importance of Advance Care Planning, and better position the organisation to invite and attract philanthropy so it may better serve its invaluable goals.

Passionate about delivering superior client service, Nick enjoys working closely with his clients and their financial advisers to ensure all aspects of their personal and business affairs are in order. Nick works with clients across all aspects of wills and estate planning, asset protection and wealth management, and has extensive experience managing estate-related affairs of high net worth clients.

Nick is also experienced in the negotiation and preparation of a wide range of commercial agreements across a range of industries, and assists the Norman’s corporate and commercial team in this capacity.

Working closely with the family law team at Norman Waterhouse, Nick often advises family law clients at short notice to offer a calm and reassuring voice and to implement immediate measures to enact protection.
