In recent times, employers have been faced with the ‘Great Resignation’ – employees at all levels leaving businesses to explore other opportunities. Dissecting why an employee left is a difficult task. However, employers with a rigorous recruitment process in place to attract the right people for its organisation will be put in the best position to keep those people employed for the long-term.
This session will delve into the recruitment process from start to finish including:
- Position descriptions and classifications;
- Shortlisting candidates;
- Interview tips and tricks;
- Pre-employment checks; and
- Contract negotiations and probationary period.
This interactive session will provide a leader’s perspective on the importance of retaining talent and will offer a number of helpful tips and tools. The ways in which HR professionals might provide greatest value to their organisations and the special relationship they share with leaders will be explored through small group activities and hypothetical scenarios.
