Overview:

This training session will provide an overview of local nuisance and training for authorised officers. The training will summarise the fundamental legal concepts that underpin relevant legislation including the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995, Local Nuisance and Litter Control Act 2016 and the Local Government Act 1999.

The course will provide participants with various different statutory interpretations contained within the Acts and an understanding of the subjective nature of nuisance. Our speakers will deliver tips for conducting investigations and discuss evidentiary aids available to authorised officers.
