About Kane
Kane joined Norman Waterhouse’s Corporate & Commercial team in November, 2013 and holds bachelor degrees in both Law and International Studies with a Diploma in Languages (Chinese) from the University of Adelaide.
Kane works with Sean Keenihan, Chair of the Board at Norman Waterhouse and Vice-President of the Australia China Business Council, to provide strategic advice and transactional support to private and public sector clients. Sean and Kane work with international investors in Australia and Australian exporters on a daily basis. Their work encompasses consideration of commercial, political, strategic and regulatory issues as well as legal issues for state and local government, international buyers and investors, and Australian exporters alike.
Over the last 5 years Kane has played an integral role in the development of policy, programs and initiatives specifically designed to give South Australian SME’s a competitive advantage in China. He provides legal advice to small business across a range of industries with a particular focus on export an inbound investment.
As an Executive of Norman Waterhouse’s business consulting arm, NW Alliance, Kane advises and supports international investors regarding Australian investment projects, as well as strategic buyers seeking to purchase and export South Australian products. He also supports local South Australian businesses to partner with international exporters and investors to realise their business goals in Australia and abroad.
